Kiégö Izzók

Formed in 1998, award-winning video art collective Kiégő Izzók evolved out of Budapest’s vibrant underground techno scene. The group have become well known in the Hungarian media arts, employing diverse techniques to create complex works. Kiégő Izzók uses projected images (moving images combined with stills) to create virtual environments and fields of free association. In their installations, viewers are given the space to freely explore their own individual narratives. They have created numerous panoramic projections, live VJ performances, music videos and short films as well as installations at festivals, in galleries and museums in Hungary and around Europe. www.kiegoizzok.com
